using evolution w/ gmail

Someone at FriLinux (Joel?) said was having trouble using Evolution w/
gmail.

I seem to remember that you thought it was using a non-standard port, it
not. It uses SSL. If you set Evolution to connect using SSL it will
automatically use those ports.

The other important part is to go into the setting portion of gmail on
the web and follow the instructions to enable pop access.

I did try all this and it does work.
