An associate has several MS systems (ya, I know ;-((
He tried to install FireFox as a clean, unencumbered test on one of
them. It insisted in pulling in all the Explorer bookmarks and
preferences. He couldn't get it to load fresh and clean.
I only have Linux boxes available to put online here in this office;
can't easily duplicate his problem.
Is he right, or maybe overlooking an option?
Have we come so far in imitation that we loose part of what is better?
