Yesterday, I upgraded my wife's laptop from Breezy Badger to Dapper
Drake. It was actually an accident; I was toying with the idea of
upgrading it, then forgot I changed my apt sources. When I did an
upgrade, it put in a ton of dapper drake files, and things started to
fall apart. I did a dist-upgrade after that, and now it's running dapper.

If I use the older kernels, installed BEFORE I upgraded to dapper, it
works - although I haven't tested it too much. Newer kernels give me
problems. The newest (I can't tell you at the moment) just draws bars
and lines across the screen in various colors, and hangs. The
"middle" kernel has a circular dependency, and segfaults.

Perhaps this is the laptop, perhaps it's the nature of dapper - but
I'm not going to be upgrading my workstation anytime soon.

Has anybody else made the jump to dapper? I know Greg toys with it a
bit, but I also remember him saying he nuked it and installed Debian Etch.
