Fielder,
D-Link DWL-650+ seems to work just fine using ndiswrapper.
get latest Windows driver from:
ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Wireless/DWL650+/Driver/dwl650+_drivers_307.zip
unzip it - someplace convenient
ndiswrapper -i ~/[someplace convenient]/Drivers/WinXP/AIRPLUS.INF
The driver will be installed. You can verify that it installed
correctly and if the hardware has been detected by running the command:
ndiswrapper -l
This will display the drivers installed and indicated if the hardware
has been found or not. If there is a problem with the driver and you
would like to remove it, just use the command:
ndiswrapper -e <drivername>
Once you have the driver installed you will need to load ndiswrapper as
a kernel module:
modprobe ndiswrapper
Use whatever tool it is you use to set-up your network card. In my case
yast.
