I just replaced one not to long ago. Any laptop drive will
work. Just get the least expensive drive you can find (not
 a cheap one!).
The HP firmware will prep and format the drive for you.
The replacement drive from HP is 300.00 plus installation.
The whole thing cost me 49.99.

Subject: Hardware request

We just had a hard drive go bad in an HP printer of ours. It's an IBM
Travelstar 5GB (model DJSA-205). Does anyone out there have one they'd be
willing to throw our way (for a price or free)? I'm sure it'd be a lot
cheaper than going to HP for the replacement.

Thanks!
