I recently discarded of some DLT tapes. In the cartridge, those are would
around a central spindle. After demag'ing them, I took apart the cartridges
and used my serated knife to cut from the outside all the way into the
spindle. Ended up with several thousdan 5-7 inch pieces of backup tape. If
anyone can get data off of those, they deserve it! :)
