The only problem with that is that one needs to dissect the *filesystem*
itself, which isn't trivial (at least for me). If it was just a matter of a
few files present on the filesystem itself (which is 90% of what IBM CHRP/PReP
needs), that would be easy. But on Apple you have to throw in an ISO/HFS
hybrid filesystem with a blessed folder and a file meta-info mapping.
Dissecting the difference between my failed attempts and what SuSE does is a
little more complicated, and I don't see any of those companies publically
documenting their CD creation procedure.
