Good points. I wish Skype wasn't closed. But are regular phones trustworthy?
I mean, my little brother can pick up an extension and listen to everything
on both sides of the conversation. So for me, Skype is a reasonable
alternative to something that is totally untrusted. When there's an
open-source alternative to Skype that works as well, I'll definitely switch
to it.
