JDK_HOME should be a directory not a file. Try /usr/local/jdk1.5.0_02/ or
maybe /usr/local/jdk1.5.0_02/bin. Also add /usr/local/jdk1.5.0_02/bin to
your PATH variable. That way you can call java or javac which is located in
the /usr/local/jdk1.5.0_02/bin directory.
