Re: What has happened to the Open Group?

Hmmm... This is very strange. I have a Linux box (Debian Woody) set up
to make the DSL connection and act as my firewall/router. It seems to be
getting heavy traffic all the time that is rejected by the firewall.

I tried a traceroute (after I installed it) directly from the firewall
and got the following:

  juda:/home/fgd# traceroute www.unix.org
  traceroute to www.unix.org (192.153.166.96), 30 hops max, 38 byte
  packets
  traceroute: sendto: Operation not permitted
   1 traceroute: wrote www.unix.org 38 chars, ret=-1
192.168.225.1 (192.168.225.1) 19.328 mstraceroute: sendto: Operation not permitted
  traceroute: wrote www.unix.org 38 chars, ret=-1
19.105 mstraceroute: sendto: Operation not permitted
    traceroute: wrote www.unix.org 38 chars, ret=-1
      18.964 ms

So what gives?

fgd.

Now this is what I expected to get from a traceroute:
traceroute to iceworm-enterprises.net (64.71.165.226), 30 hops max, 38 byte packets
