Jacob, if we knew what sort of work you wanted to do, we might know what
"good" to recommend :-)
There is always "xv".
I used it as the display tool from web browsers.
It does nice inspections of the pics from my digital camera.
Printing is fast, color balance changes work, mirror/rotate work.
Its not a batch processor. Its not a paintbrush package.
