Mike,

I've had some success with Suse 9.0. I've got an 8 in 1 card reader
(internal) and I use two different types of media so far. (compact flash
and SD) I plugged the reader into the board's primary usb connection.

I simply turn the computer off, insert the chip in the appropriate slot
and reboot. I end up with an icon on my desktop for the appropriate chip.
It labels it SDA1 or whatever is the next drive.

When I have to take data off the chip, I stick it in the slot, click on
the icon to mount and Konqeror opens showing all the files.

For some unknown reason, I loose my configuration once in a while. It will
run perfectly for months and then I can't access the chip anymore. I'd
like to know how to make that configuration stick.
