An interesting aspect of Ubuntu is it is based on Debian Unstable or
newer. Most distro's based on Debian use Stable, or the soon to be
released stable (Sarge). It seems to me that some of the developers for
Ubuntu are Debian DD's, that tried to support the Debian desktop
sub-project but found an easier way.

Anyhoo, a distro based on the Debian system, with the latest versions of
software, is a big plus for Debian users.

I haven't tried it yet, I am in the 'no beta release' for business
mode :)
