The SCO Group of Lindon, which has made controversial claims on the
Linux operating system, was the state's worst performing stock in the
first of this year. Its shares plunged 67 percent as the once
high-flying company saw the Royal Bank of Canada bail out of its $30
million equity interest following the recent demand of partner BayStar
Capital that SCO return its $20 million loan.
