i started thinking yesterday, and im not sure where to
even start reading, so a pointer in the right direction
if somebody could help me? can any of the firewalls
anybody on the list have worked with filter streams in
such a way that it can look for certain words in the
stream? what im wanting is one that i can set up a list
of words (ie; porn, tits, neo nazi, marilyn mansion,
etc etc etc) that it checks incoming web pages for. if
the web page contains said words, it doesnt get thru.
this has to be done at the firewall because the kids
will be working on windoze boxen. yes, i know about
setting up things like net nanny and the filters built
into windoze, but im wanting something extra. im
assuming some of the users are smart and will try and
get around the filters on the box itself, not to
mention the fact that not all such sites set specs to
help the filters and such filters dont get everything
anyways.

any idea? any of the firewalls anybody has worked with
do such kind of filtering? this needs to be non
comercial as well. thanks for any pointers in advance
