I'm not sure I understand--do you normally get two copies of every list
message, except for those sent to aklug@lib.uaa.alaska.edu (which is
apparently how it's addressed using "reply-to-list" functions)? Going
through the mail logs, only one copy of each of your two messages went
out.

This comes up every once in awhile, but I'll point out again that there is
no difference whatsoever, functionally speaking, between
aklug@lib.uaa.alaska.edu and aklug@aklug.org. The MX record for
lib.uaa.alaska.edu points to asimov.lib.uaa.alaska.edu, and the MX record
for aklug.org points to smtp.aklug.org.

  asimov.lib.uaa.alaska.edu = 137.229.184.11
             smtp.aklug.org = 137.229.184.11

Unless I'm missing your point, if you're getting two copies of every list
message, then I would say that you're subscribed to the list under two
addresses that end up delivering to the same mailbox.
