Kurt, I think I've found the problem. My Debian box (vmware) keeps
losing it nic and when I bring it back up it's doing so in IPv6
configuration. Once this is done I can't search Openldap - it just
hangs. I stop slapd and..it won't restart.
I'm hoping one of my good Debian friends know more about the nic config
then I do. I don't want IPv6....
