You'll have to tell me what the "standard windows setup" looks like
before I weigh in on this; I tend to push for pretty non-windows-style
unix setups, so (seems to me) a better idea of what you are looking for
could spark a better discussion.

(I maintain that, for less than about 30 users, one giant machine and a
bunch of X terminals is the correct solution)
