I did not go to 2.6 and I used Fedora FC1. Since I don't know what
services you have running on your production box, it is hard for me to
compare my experience to what you might run into. If I were in your
position, I would problably build a new box with the new version and
copy over all my config files, launch it and see what happens. That way
you have the old one still working.

If you only have the one box, then your definitely going to have to shut
it down for awhile :). But I assume if you do have a production box,
you have some kind of replacement box, in case your production box
fails.

Good luck and I'm sure release notes will have some good indicators on
what troubles you might run into.
