Happy Halloween, Have a list of to do's today, please advise if possible: 1.
Trying to mount shares via xsmbrowser or LinNeighborhood, errors: libsmb
based programs must *NOT* be setuid root. When I take out the setuid bit on
smbmount I then get this error: smbmnt must be installed suid root for
directuser mounts(1000,1000) smbmnt failed:1 -rwx--x--x 1 root users 640824
Oct 27 09:16 /usr/bin/smbmount I think it all comes down to letting non-root
users run smbmount...but I not positive....ideas? Tim
