I have a Plextor PX708A DVD R/RW. It is a plus/minus writer. I have it installed
in a system with dual PIII's 500 megs RAM running redhat 2.4.20-6smp kernel. I
have 7 gigs of available disk space for images and can make and mount images
succesfully. I am using cdrecord-2.0-11.9.1 with a proDVD key. I can identify
the drive using cdrecord --scanbus if I turn off ultra DMA. However when I go to
burn the image I get an error about the size of the file being over 1G and the
process hangs. I segmented the image into four files under a gig as suggested
somewhere in cdrecord docs but stil got the same error.

I know this can work because I have made big burns on a Pioneer DVD-RW using the
same kernel and version of cdrecord. Can anyone send me a command line that they
use to burn big images? I am assuming I am missing a switch or two.

Thanks
