Subject: Knoppix Demo to GCC and HS Teachers

The German Culture Club (GCC) meets at 5:30pm on Thursdays in room 283
of the Administration Building, UAA. I put on a practice demonstration
of Knoppix v3.3, German (DE) edition. I had a little trouble with the
junk computer (I had bashed some of the exposed connector pins on the
ancient video board (ET4000 ?) and just straightend them out), but once
I had that fixed, the demo went well. I gave away three of the CD's I
have burned with the K3.3 2003-09-DE to members of the GCC.
I am about to head over to the Commons, UAA, to set up for the demo for
the HS teachers at about 11:30 or so. I plan about ten minutes to run
through a boot demo and my patter. I did not prepare a handout on either
Knoppix or the AKLUG, but I did put the web site on the CD label.
