Has anyone experienced or heard of problems with dhcpcd in RedHat 7.3?
My network connection keeps getting dropped and I'm getting messages
like this in /var/log/messages:

Feb 25 11:50:08 jldibm dhcpcd[862]: sendto: Socket operation on non-socket
Feb 25 11:50:08 jldibm dhcpcd[862]: sendto: Socket operation on non-socket
Feb 25 11:50:08 jldibm dhcpcd[862]: dhcpStop: ioctl SIOCSIFADDR:
Inappropriate ioctl for device
Feb 25 11:50:08 jldibm dhcpcd[862]: dhcpStop: ioctl SIOCSIFFLAGS:
Inappropriate ioctl for device

Searching the web doesn't result in much explaination of why this might
occur. One person suggested using pump instead of dhcpcd, which I'm
trying now, and so far it seems to be working <knock on wood>

I'm using a Linksys PCMCIA 10/100 card (pcnet_cs module).

Anyway, unless pump doesn't keep working, it's just curiousity on my
part what the problem might be if anyone knows...

Justin
