I did a Debian install on m laptop at the Friday nite affair (IDEA)
which uses a proxy. Normally I use 'export http_proxy' to connect at
IDEA. This time I used the option that Debian offers during the install
to set the proxy. Now I have a permanent proxy setting, which only works
at IDEA. I can't figure out how to change/remove this proxy setting
permanently, don't know where Debian keeps this info'
