Will do.
I haven't installed it yet. I think I'll wait until the weekend when I have
more time to play.
I am not sure which applications I want to run because I don't know exactly
what programs are included with 8.1
I will let you know when I get it installed. I actually wanted Mandrake 9.0
but CompUSA does not carry Mandrake anymore and I can't find it anywhere in
town.
Anyone have any ideas besides download it? :-)

... and how did it go?

Where are you located?
What applications do you want to run?
I tried to call you last night, but the phone was busy.
We have the sinus/throat/chest colds here, so I shut down early for bed.

SuSE 7.2 runs my Dual-screen CAD station.
My "testing" box has 8.1, and may soon swap places with the older box.
The only thing I use that needs Windows is a lighting design package
from Lithonia Lighting.
Give me a call if you have time.
