Okay, I now have all the Red Hat 8 ISO's (Thanks Leif!) and if anyone
needs CD's, I can make copies. All I ask is you provide replacement
blanks, and you have to come pick them up by Wednesday (I'm going
out-of-state for a while starting Thursday) Also, let me know what CD's
you want - there are 5 discs, but only the first 3 are used in the install.

I installed it this morning on my test partition, and it looks pretty
clean and polished, but it seems like they dumbed it down too much...
Under the Internet menu, you have three choices - 'Web Browser'
(Mozilla), 'E-Mail' (Evolution) and 'Instant Messager' (Gaim) There is a
few more entries in an 'Extras' submenu, but why make it so diffucult to
find something as simple as an FTP client? It might be nice for new
users, but for experienced Linux users, it seems like the lack of
options could get frustrating fast..

Also, it's true - no mp3 support (ogg works fine) but xmms.org has an
rpm up to add mp3 support for xmms. Although I'm still confused as to
why they didn't ship with mp3 support - free software decoders are not
subject to licensing fees... <shrug>

Anyway, I'll stick with RH 7.3 for now, thanks. :) But whoever wants
copies, let me know!

Justin
