For those waiting for a sign before purchasing a dvd burner. There is an
upcoming release of 4X media, with 4X burners to follow. Currently it is
1X & 2X media & burners. The 2X burns in about 26 minutes. The 4X media
will probably be more expensive but the 1X is very cheap now ($.89) and
the 2X is not much more
The dvd-r, dvd+r issue I will leave to others :)
