I just recently bought one of those Walmart.com computers....most of you are
probably saying..."Why in the heck did Mike do that?" It's a good question,
in fact, my wife even asked that question! :)
I bought it to see what experience any person who bought one of these things
was going to have. Additionally, I wanted to prove that a family could in
fact buy a machine, put Linux on it, and use it at home as their regular
computer. I have now put my money where my mouth has been for these few
years.
So I am putting together an email talking about the different problems and
successes I ran into.
It has been great fun!
