1. Cybermax case 14x12x3.5 Jetway 601CF, NEC DVD, IBM 15G, Asound
Networking 10/100 card (Myson |803), Mandrake 8.2 with Xine and d4d
Case is jade green (mottled) a spray paint job with transparent urethane
then metalflake enamel. PIII 866 with 256M. Note that there is no
processor
cooling fan--it runs at processor temp of 36C steady. Small and
reliable--yes 5G is set aside for windows, and the 98 placed there for test
purposes will be removed. The 601 is an everything board. Two PCI slots are
open, but cards have to be low-profile and the metal on the card has to be
reshaped for the short height.

2. Compaq 5000 Professional Workstation with 4G Viking and 2G Compaq
drives,
dual PPro 512K, Matrox AND ELSA cards available for video, and both work.
CDRom and floppy, 160M 168 Pin SIMM Unbuffered Memory (not SDRAM). One
socket
is gimmicked because it was received in damaged condition, and it needs an
external wedge to close (actually this is the product of the working
parts of
two 5000 Professional Workstations found at a Value Village.) Mandrake 8.2
is installed and the on-board ethernet works well. System works well, but
external speakers are a must because the on-board sound plays through the
internal one if there is nothing plugged in and that sounds just awful.

3. Silver machine: Room for Windows with a working MDK 8,2 on board No
slots, only USB. Local modem is of the software kind but an ELSA
Microlink is supplied. A Netgear EA101 DiD work on this machine for
networrk connectivity, but the hardware device failed, so it is likely
that another USB->Ethernet adapter could be used. Intel 810BP chipset
max resolution 800x600 in 16 bit depth, 128M Memory and Celeron 466
Processor. Case is silver with pink handle (Yep an unbadged Barbie) and
silver keyboard and mouse are supplied. Barbie logos were sanded off to
surplus the hardware and some silver-flecked auto enamel was used to
touch up. Even the bezel of CD and floppy are silver. Driver CD
available for Windows. Hard disk drive is IBM 10 G.

4. IBM PC350 P166 with small hdd (1.6G) and two ethernet cards and mouse.
Runs headless as Mandrake Single Network Firewall, using 64Mb Memory (Yes it
needs the mouse to boot but no KB.) CDROM drive also on board. Desktop
case.
This one comes with a one-year support from me, but only for use as a
firewall.

5. Inwin 500D desktop case. CDRW/DVD drive, ASUS A7N266-VM NForce chipset
Mobo, 512M DDR 2100, 20G Maxtor and 40 G Seagate. Currently installed
without RAID and with almost 20G on the Seagate open for Windows (tested
with XP). It is unstable on RAID with the proprietary NVidia drivers but
appears to be OK with those drivers on a straight ext2 install. or on RAID
with the XFree NVidia drivers. Everything is built-in and all the PCI
slots
are open and this desktop case is big enough (16x14x4.5) to have room for
regular size PCI cards. 180W power and Duron 1G round it out, though it
will
run an Athlon 2200 with the current power and fan setup.

6. Pentium Pro 256 on Shuttle mobo with 18X CD and 2.1G Hdd in a mini-tower
AT case. Adapters supplied to use PS/2 with it. Sound is a SB-16 (ISA)
and memory is 96M. One netwoprk card supplied, of the DEC Tulip kind.
Video
is Matrox PCI. Works fine with Mandrake 7.1 and 7.2.

Some keyboards and mice are available, but no monitors. I used KVM
switches
a lot in my testing. Write for prices.
