I ran across a converter that will convert ms access databases into mysql
databases.

What it does is create a sql formatted text file. This file creates the
tables then adds all the data to them.

Very slick.

And follow the instructions.

NOTE: if you have '/' (slashes) or use the % (percent sign) in your field
names, you will have to change the text file. It assumes you are using
valid field names for mysql to start with.
