go and look into the status files in the spool directory. It might give you
a clue as to where to look.

Subject: Bizzare Printer Oddity

I've been looking around online for a good forum/faq that deals with
this, and am meeting with no success.
I'm printing over samba to an epson stylus color 640. I installed
RedHat's PrintTool and set it up using that. It prints perfectly, except
that I get "no filename information given. Assume stcany" printed at the
top of the first page.
To say the least, this looks odd on school papers.

Any ideas or sites to point me to?
